Sweet Home Layouts/Workshop

Here is the SWEET HOME kit that we complete at January workshops. A very fun kit for family photos but yet very versatile. Page one I used as a travel page with my son and I when we went to Austria this summer.

Page two can be used for just about any photos and is very versatile. I love versatile pages.

Page three is a great family/home page. I am waiting for the snow to melt around my house so I can put two photos of our home on this page where you see the white blanks. Hopefully the snow will melt soon so I can get that done.
Enjoy putting your layouts together. Next month we will work with "topstitch" from the new spring idea book.

Let the Journey begin

I am just a few hours from walking out my door to go to New Zealand. Now that I am packed, house is cleaned and kids have all been given instructions perhaps I can now get excited.

Not to excited about the 15 hour flight but I will survive. My longest flight has been to Europe and that was 12 hours. So I guess I will just get a few more hours of sleep or more of my book read.

Once I get home I will have tons of photos to share with you and lots of stories about our adventure to tell you. Have a wonderful week. I look forward to getting back to hopping over to your blogs and commenting. Sure has been crazy at my house with the holidays ect.

Grace Layouts

Good day everyone. Today I will be posting the workshop layouts from last month (Grace) and this month (Sweet Home) for those of you that didn't finish. These Grace layouts are so fun. You might try printing your photos in sepia for these layouts. The sepia gives the layouts such a warm feeling. I think I will print in sepia when I put photos on the third layout which as you can see has no photos on it.
Layout one was our family at Thanksgiving time looking at the Christmas lights at Temple Square. It's the perfect layout for family
Layout two is Rachael and her dorm life last year as a freshman. Someday she will be so glad to look back and remember her dorm. However right now she is grateful she no longer lives in the dorms.

Layouts were inpired by my upline and BFF Karen.

Anyway, I wanted to share a fun card I made for a very special friend. Well it didn't turn out how I had in visioned it in my brain, but it's the thought that counts right.

The colors are bright and fun. I enjoyed making it for her and I included a special gift with the card that I knew she could use. Below are the supplies I used to make the card. Click on each item to view them on my website.

It's AMAZING

Ohhh my gosh. I just got back from seeing New Moon. I had some special connections and was able to see the premier tonight at 9:00pm so I didn't have to go to the midnight show. Either way it was well worth the wait. It was crazy. Can't say I have seen so many crazy women in one place before.

Well I will not spoil it for you other than to say what are you waiting for? Go see it and if you need a buddy to go with you give me a call.

Hello friends. I know you think I have fallen off the face of the earth. Things at my house have been crazy, and it never slows down. This year Thanksgiving is at my house so I have been cleaning, purging, and organizing like mad.

However, tonight I put it all aside and decided I needed some creative time. It was a great feeling. So here is a card I made with this weeks sketch over at mojo Monday.

I love this stamp set and I love creating it in non-traditional colors. Thanks so much for taking a moment to peek. Below is a list of items I used to make the card. The following items can be ordered on my website. Happy Thanksgiving and as you can see I have one Christmas card ready to go. Haha

FINALLY- October Workshops

YIKES. I am so sorry for the major delay on getting these posted. Sickness hit our house big time. I have done nothing for about 10 days. I think we are finally over all of that-hopefully. Anyway, here are the layouts from last month workshops (Twitterpated) for those that didn't get finished.

If you have questions please let me know.

Never a Dull Moment

Well as you can see there is never a dull moment at our house. Something is going on at all times. I guess that is good because I would hate to be bored. However, someday I want to be board for one day just to see what it feels like. Hahahah. Actually I love all the excitement at our house. It keeps me on my toes.

So I started out a few days by catching a bug. Not a cute bug like this one. The naughty bug I caught knocked me right off my feet for a few days. I attempted to be productive yesterday and get some photos on the workshop layouts that you are all waiting for me to post. It took me all day to get photos on one layout. Today is much better so maybe I can finish them up tonight and get them posted. Thanks for your patience.

So next on the agenda is the swim season starts this week. Well the competition part of it starts. Practice started several weeks ago. Anyway, as a kick off for the season it has been a standing tradition that we have a intra-squad meet on Monday. Therefore the night before the meet (in this case Fri night) the kids divide into the blue team and the white team. They go to each swimmers house and decorate there bedroom and there front yard. Here is Alyssa before she sets out to gather her team to start there decorating frenzy. She does make a very cute criminal don't you think.

Well, we have been decorated for 6 years straight between my two girls. Ohhh My Goodness what am I going to do next year when my yard and house is not decorated. Knowing me I will probably go out and TP my own house just because I will miss all this swim team fun.

Actually I think it really adds to my Halloween decor don't you?

Well, moving along Brandon had his last game of the season today (thank goodness). They are in the playoffs which I am happy for him but it can get nasty during playoff time.

This afternoon we rushed home from Brandon's game to get Lauren to a friends birthday party. They were to wear there Halloween costumes. She makes a cute little pirate. She had a blast. OHHH once again notice the Halloween decor in the background.
So I can't leave anyone out. Rachael is studying for mid-terms at BYU. Rach have fun and we are thinking of all the fun you must be having right now.- Love MOM
