I am so very blessed to have such amazing friends in my life. Today I want to recognize and introduce you to one of my BFF and tell her how much I appreciate her. She has certainly gone through her share of trials but continues to alway be such a great example and blessing in my life.
Karen I love this poem and thought of you.
A CHERISHED FRIEND LIKE YOU
Author: KRISTEN M SACCARDI
God must have known there would be
times we'd need a word of cheer,
Someone to praise a triumph
or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share
the joy of little things
In order to appreciate
the happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts
would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes,
or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
to make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship
unselfish.... lasting.... true,
And so God answered
the heart's great need
with Cherished Friends.... like you!!
times we'd need a word of cheer,
Someone to praise a triumph
or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share
the joy of little things
In order to appreciate
the happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts
would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes,
or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort
of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage
to make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship

And so God answered
the heart's great need
with Cherished Friends.... like you!!

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful lady!! I am so fortunate to have you both as my uplines, and doubly blessed that I can call you both (wonderful!) friends, as well. Love you both!
Lynette, I am sitting here with tears running down my face. If the card and flowers from you and Nicole weren't already enough, you go and add this beautiful poem and kind words. I am the one who is lucky. You have no idea. The flowers and card and your visit came at just the time I really needed a pick-me-up. The fact that you have trials of your own, so much greater than mine, but continue to put others first says so much about you...and is exactly why I love you so much. THANK YOU for your friendship. Kate, thanks for the kind words you said in your comment too. Lynette and I were talking about how much we think of you yesterday when we saw each other. Were your ears burning? Off to unpack more boxes and thank the heavens for such wonderful friends...
